Broad and flattened. Margins of pronotum and elytra widely explanate. Front margin of the pronotum much narrower than the hind margin.

Narrow, elongate. Explanate margins narrow or absent. Front margin of the pronotum wider than, or very nearly as wide as, the hind margin.

Elytra smooth and shiny, with rows of strong punctures and outstanding pubescence. Metallic bronze.

Elytra with longitudinal carinae between puncture rows, without long pubescence. 7-10mm. Drab, with margins of the elytra and pronotum red.

Pronotal base very nearly as wide as the base of the elytra. Front margin of the pronotum not as wide as the base. 2.7-3mm.

Cylindrical, parallel overall and very elongate. Frons with a longitudinal impression, and clypeus deeply cleft. Bicoloured orange and black. 4.5-5mm.

Base of the pronotum much narrower than the base of the elytra; front margin wider than the base. Clypeus entire. Overall dark brown. 6-11mm.
